Myself evaluation of the academic year. 18:11

Myself evaluation of the current academic year...Well, actually this particular subject have a lot of differents points of view, it's really difficult for us, students, teenegers and even adult go trought this career, trought the university in general, because we have this messy life, with all this hormones in our body asking for revolution or at least for some relax and spare time of us, for learning, because this is the time to ruin things...to screw up, because this is the only way to learn...by living your own experiences, so do an evaluation about my academic year...it's easy, have a lot of branchs, and particulary situations that affect my academic life.
To begin with this term has been the best one in my university life, the last year, the first term was a mess! because we don't know...a thing, but really.. we are a bit lost in this new world, and we have to have the conviction of what we really want (that must be.. be a good veterinary) if we are not..it's so easy to give up, because in the school, everything it's so easy, we were like protected by our parents, by the school's owners, and now...surprise, we are alone, no one will do the things for you, no one will ask you how are doing, and you realize that you have to study to have a 4, yes...you almost and do a party when you have a miserable 4, one good thing is that you learn from this and then it's easier for you to learn.
So with all this experiencience from the last year, now... i knew how to do the things, i had to organize myself, I tried to study everyday, and I didn't let external thing influence me, because I lived that...the last year and the only thing that you learn, is that you can't deal with everything and in a moment you'll explote and everything will be ruin, so this term was so good, also because I knew who my friends are, and we have such a good time together, and academically i'm better now.
The university experience has more good things than bad things, with my friends we always talk about...if we will have childrens, we HAVE the obligation of...tell them our historys, is not all about study, we are young and hopefully we will have a lot of time to do whatever we want, to go to different places, and of cuorse have our own veterinary, the good part is that the university opens a lot of new doors, and you have to have the ability to choose the right ones, and in that way you have to build your life, when you heard people saying that this is the best time of our lifes... i think that they are right.

challenges in my discipline 16:47

the challenges in my discipline, veterinary, are huge.. because in our country veterinary it's so poor, people usually don't appreciate this career, and always says like..."ohh..you are studying veterinary.. that's sweet", and they don't know that we have to study tons and tons of subjects, it's the same that human medicine...but even worse because we have to known everything about.. at least 4 species.
speaking about technology, here we have nothing...in comparision to USA, here when a bitch is pregnant, to see how many puppys she had inside, the veterinarys take X rays, and that it's so dangerous to the puppys, but here, no one will pay for an ultrasound scan, i think that... basically we have to find a way to change people's mind, because otherwise we can't improve our technology, if no one wants to pay... isn't business.
one of the most important things it's educate people about their pets... because we are almost the only country that have tons of homeless dogs living in the streets, and isn't just bad and unfair for them, it's also an hygiene problem, because they may have ticks, or any disease that can affect human healthy, and this is because people let their pets have puppys, and then they just throw them, i dont know how someone can do that, but that's why we have to educate people, because if we just keep staring, nothing will change and i think that we are in this career because we wanna make a change in the world.. at least contribute with something.

Smelling a potential lover. 16:19

Tamara Brown, 33, is a behavioural geneticist, Her company, GenePartner, offers a service for dating agencies assessing biological compatibility on the basis of DNA, the base it is one of the main factors in the immune system call HLA, the human leukocyte antigen, the theory is the more HLAs you have, the more different pathogens it can bind and instructs the immune system accordingly, so choosing a partner with different HLAs produces a child with a much broader immunity, and that's the final reason (in an animal perspective) of all the relationship, have childs better than the parents, stronger and with more posilibities to be a success, so you have to give them a sample of your saliva and they do the magic.. and surprise! you have your potential lover on the computer, of cuorse, this have nothing to do with love...i mean the real love, or to get on well with someone, this is just seeing in a sexual way, but the scientist says that this is so important to humans that this should be enough, something similar happends when you smell somebody... and you love that smell, it's because of the feromones, it's funny how the "animal instinct" affect us, you can't fight against nature, and this is a good prove of it.

Improving Faculty Facilities 15:53

i'm re writting this blog, well..i actually have a lot to write about this particular subject, good things.. and bad things, let's start with good things:
It's so great for me.. and for everyone have "green areas" with grass.. trees, this kind of thing allow us be in touch with nature, that have no prize, maybe we have a small faculty, and the resorts are limited, but being able to rest in the grass after a test...or maybe for lunch have no comparision.
"mundo granja" this is soo important for us! we are veterinary student, so we are dedicating our lives to animals, and have the posibility to be close to them, it's awesome because we have so many things to learn! and as a plus.. it's also funny because you see all this dogs playing, even fighting sometimes, certainly isn't something common in an university.
now.. bad things..i just have one complain, and it's about the "almost casino" because isn`t a real casino, it's something like a cafeteria, and they sell lunchs and it's so expensive and don't have a lot of alternatives, like in the faculty of agronomy, and when you have that scholarship to eat..you can't buy something to drink.. and also you have to pay more for the "menu", so i think that they should make an effort and try to get the license to be a real casino and reduce the price of the food.
another thing...but the faculty have no fault, it's about the restrooms...they are always so dirty, and it's because the people that use them are dirty...it's so disgusting, but the people that clean it...they do an excellent job.
